Transportation Engineering - Highway/Roadway Internship

Scope of work

Contributes to highway and roadway design projects, including traffic analysis and plan preparation, gaining experience with engineering design software and construction documentation.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Strong interest in highway, roadway, or transportation engineering
• Familiarity with design software such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D (Geopak or 3D Modeling experience a plus, but not required)
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Organizational skills to handle multiple assignments efficiently
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from project sites
