Transportation Engineering Internship

Scope of work

Supports a highway and roadway design team as a summer intern, contributing to traffic analysis, plan preparation, and construction documentation for transportation infrastructure projects.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field
• Strong interest in highway, roadway, or transportation engineering
• Familiarity with design software such as MicroStation and/or AutoCAD Civil 3D (Geopak or 3D Modeling experience a plus, but not required)
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment
• Organizational skills to handle multiple assignments efficiently
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation to and from project sites
