Civil Engineer

Scope of work

Produces civil site-development designs -- layouts, grading and drainage, stormwater management, and utilities -- for mixed-use, commercial, and municipal building projects using Civil 3D, while performing supporting calculations, specifications, and permitting documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.
• 0-6 years of civil engineering experience, focused on site development related to buildings.
• Previous experience working in an A/E and / or Civil Engineering design firm.
• An appreciation and understanding of the integrated design process and a desire to work collaboratively with multiple disciplines.
• Experience with Autodesk Civil 3D.
• Working knowledge of additional current civil engineering related software (Hydraflow, Storm and Sanitary Sewer Analysis, InfraWorks).
• Proficient with Microsoft Office
• Goal oriented with strong skills in problem solving creativity and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills, verbal and written.
• Strong understanding of storm water management requirements and hydrologic design.
