Mechanical Design Engineer

Scope of work

• Produce Mechanical Designs of Transformers and Reactors for up to 132kV Transformers as per Scope of Work.
• Prepare manufacturing and customer drawings under the direction of Senior Engineer/Engineering Manager to Scope of work.
• Produce Transformer assembly, General assembly drawings.
• Support IT department to keep existing & future CAD systems up to date.
• Working with the customer and the wider Engineering team to achieve the required specifications.

Requirements

• Accredited Bachelors or honours degree in engineering or technology, or HND/Foundation degree
• Autodesk Inventor / AutoCAD 2D
• Knowledge of mechanical design of power transformers and reactors
