Site Civil/ Energy Internship (Summer 2027)

Scope of work

• Work as part of the industry leading Energy team.
• Gain real-world experience working on actual projects alongside Licensed Engineers that are experts in their fields.
• Assist on station civil tasks: site design, stormwater management, access road and culvert design, permitting, grading, surveying, plan production and cost estimation.
• Assist on underground transmission tasks: duct bank routing, underground utilities conflict management, permitting, plan production and cost estimation.
• Work as a member of a team that coordinates with other internal teams and external subconsultants and clients.
• Perform tasks and solve problems with a high degree of independence.
• Work across multiple disciplines to gain a variety of knowledge and experience.

Requirements

• Enrolled student, preferably at least sophomore status
• Pursuing a Civil Engineering degree
• Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and/or MicroStation preferred
• General interest in site civil design
