Mechanical Design Engineer

Scope of work

• Design assemblies using Solidworks.
• Producing assembly and fabrication drawings.
• Produce BOM’s to help with the procurement of materials.
• Work with shop floor fabrication, mechanical assembly team and liaise with outside suppliers/fabricators.
• Any other duties for which the mechanical design engineer is experienced and qualified and capable of undertaking that will add value to the business.

Requirements

• Experienced Solidworks operator
• Knowledge of producing assembly and fabrication drawings
• Ability to produce BOMs for procurement
• Knowledge of AutoCAD 2D
• Knowledge of designing steel structures and piping standards
